Share Your Skincare Knowledge With Dermafyx

Welcome to Dermafyx — a skincare platform built for people who genuinely want to understand their skin, not just follow whatever trend is popular this month.

Let’s be honest skincare can get confusing fast. New products keep popping up, everyone online seems to have different opinion and half the advice out there contradicts the other half. At Dermafyx, we try to cut through that noise. We want our content to be clear, practical and honest — the kind of article you’d actually want to read twice not something that just repeats what is already been said a hundred times.

That is really why this page exists. We’re looking for writers, skincare enthusiasts, estheticians, dermatology students — basically anyone who know their stuff and wants to share it. If there is a topic you understand well and can break down in a way that actually helps someone we want to hear from you.

Why Write for Dermafyx?

We won’t sugarcoat it — we get a lot of pitches that are basically the same five skincare tips rewritten for the hundredth time. That is not what we are after. We are more interested in writers who bring something little different to the table: a real answer to a question people actually have or a way of explaining something complicated without making it sound like a textbook.

Here’s what you actually get out of writing for us:

  • An audience that’s paying attention. People land on Dermafyx because they’re looking for answers, not just killing time.
  • Your name on the work. Every guest article comes with a byline, a short bio and a link back to you.
  • Editorial standards that actually mean something. We say no to a lot of submissions — copied content, thin content, spun content — which means the stuff that does get published carries more credibility.
  • Content that sticks around. A blog post doesn’t disappear the way a social media post does. People will still be finding and reading your article a year from now.

You don’t need a huge writing portfolio to contribute. If you know your subject and can write it clearly that’s really what matters most.

What Can You Write About?

Honestly, almost anything skincare-related counts — or even stuff that’s just loosely connected to it. Here are few ideas to spark something:

  • Skincare routines based on skin type, age, or the season
  • Acne, pigmentation, rosacea, eczema, sensitivity — the works
  • A starting point for people who are totally new to skincare
  • Sunscreen and sun protection (seriously underrated topic)
  • Anti-aging and care for mature skin
  • What certain ingredients really do — and what they don’t
  • Honest product comparisons and reviews
  • Skincare mistakes people make without even realizing it
  • Morning and night routines
  • Low-effort no-fuss skincare approaches
  • Men’s skincare and grooming
  • Body, lip and hand care
  • Keeping your skin barrier healthy
  • How sleep, stress and diet quietly affect your skin
  • Skincare myths that need to finally go away

And if your idea doesn’t fit neatly into any of these pitch it anyway. We’d much rather hear a good idea than skip it just because it was not on the list.

What Makes an Article Actually Good

Before you start writing ask yourself one simple question: would this actually help someone?

You do not need fancy vocabulary or dermatology degree to write for us. If you are talking about an ingredient tell people what it does and who it is actually useful for. If you are walking through a routine explain why each step matters instead of just listing it. If you are covering a skin concern stay realistic — skip the promises that sound too good to be true because readers can usually tell.

Basically write the way you’d explain something to a friend who asked you for advice. Clear, honest, no fluff.

A Few Ground Rules

Nothing too strict, but these matter to us:

  1. It has to be original. Written for Dermafyx, not recycled from your own blog or posted somewhere else first. We do check.
  2. Aim for 900–1,500 words. Enough room to actually cover the topic properly. If it genuinely needs more space, that’s fine too.
  3. Do your research. Skincare misinformation spreads easily so if you are making a claim about an ingredient or treatment back it up. Keep opinions clearly separate from facts.
  4. Structure it well. Headings, short paragraphs the occasional bullet list — anything that makes it easier to skim without losing the point.
  5. Skip the exaggerated claims. No “this will fix your skin forever” type language. Everyone’s skin is different and reader deserve honesty over hype.
  6. Keep it conversational — professional doesn’t mean dry. Write like a person not brochure.
  7. One relevant link is fine. Usually in your bio, pointing to your site or profile. Articles written mainly to sneak in backlinks won’t make the cut.
  8. Use images you actually have rights to. Your own photos or properly licensed ones with credit given where it’s due.
  9. Proofread before sending. A clean draft moves through review a lot faster than one full of typos.

What Won’t Get Published

  • Anything copied, spun or clearly reworded from another site
  • Content unrelated to skincare, beauty or wellness
  • Articles that exist mainly to promote a product or drop links
  • Unverified health claims dressed up as facts
  • Advice that promotes unsafe skincare practices
  • Anything under 600 words or lacking real substance
  • Content that’s already been published somewhere else

We do reserve the right to say no — not to be difficult, but because keeping standards consistent is what makes this worth reading in the first place.

About Your Bio

Feel free to include a short bio with your submission — a line or two about who you are your background or your skincare experience, plus a link if you’d like. We might tweak the wording slightly to match the rest of the site but the substance stays yours.

How to Actually Submit

If you’re not sure your idea is a fit, send a quick pitch first before writing the whole thing — saves everyone some time.

When you’re ready just include:

Subject line: Write for Us – [Your Topic] Your Name: Proposed Topic: Short Description of Your Article: Author Bio: Article (if it’s ready):

Send it over to: dermaafyx@gmail.com

Give it a once-over for spelling and originality before hitting send — it really does speed things up on our end.

How We Review Submissions

We’re not in a race to publish as much as possible. If anything, we’d rather put out fewer pieces that actually help people than pad the site with content nobody needed. So yeah, every submission gets a real look — is it relevant, is it original, does it actually give the reader something worth their time? Getting the green light on a pitch doesn’t mean it goes live word-for-word either. Sometimes we’ll come back with a couple of small tweaks. And if something needs a bigger rework, we won’t just publish it without talking to you first — we’ll always check in before anything goes out.

Got Something Worth Sharing?

If you have got a tip, a perspective or knowledge that could genuinely help someone figure out their skin a little better that is exactly the kind of content we are looking for.

Send us your idea. Let’s help someone build a better relationship with their skin.
